FoodXplore is a unique international workshop that gathers enthusiastic food technologists on one platform so they may share information and awareness about recent advancements in the field. The program depends on establishing a fundamental awareness of and dialogue on food and nutritional security, which is currently becoming more crucial globally.

Agricultural Engineering College & Research Institute, a technological hub institute with renowned excellence is the pioneer in offering Agricultural Engineering degree programme in South India. The campus has been awarded as “ The Best College” amongst the other constituent and affiliated college in TNAU . It mentors four degree programmes namely B.Tech (Food Technology) , B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) , B.Tech (Energy and Environmental Engineering)  and B.Tech (Agricultural Information Technology).

DEPT. OF FOOD PROCESS ENGINEERING

The Agricultural Engineering College and Research Institute  began offering the B.Tech (Food Technology) degree in 1998.This Science discipline examines the methods used in the manufacture , processing, preservation, packaging, labelling ,quality control and distribution of food. There are a total of 11 courses offered by this department , M.Tech in Processing and Food Engineering is offered by the Department of Food Process Engineering, AEC and RI ,Coimbatore campus.
